Payment

BACS, Visa, MasterCard, Paypal and company cheque by approval. First orders must be pre-paid. Approved terms are available at 50% in advance and balance due before shipment for subsequent orders. You will be emailed the invoice and goods will be held for 21 days pending payment. Please note that we only hold limited stock so all orders will be held for a maximum of 21 days before being reallocated to another stockist. No orders will be posted until full payment is received. You may place your wholesale order online, by telephone or email (info@svendsenjewellery.com). 

Credit terms for current clients

Buyers that have placed and received four or more orders may apply for net 30 terms. Net 30 accounts must be backed with a credit card guarantee of payment. The amount due will be charged to your credit card if payment is not received in a timely manner. In the event that the account becomes non-collectable, late fees may be assessed. Accounts past 45 days will be referred to collections. All returned checks will be charged £20 and subsequent orders must be prepaid by a credit card or check.

Reorders

Reorders will not be released for shipment until payment has been received for any previous orders. Approved terms are available at 50% in advance and balance due before shipment.

Display

We will inquire before shipping whether you would like to use our packaging or if you would prefer to use your own.

Pricing

Please see wholesale price list for the recommended retail price. Goods must not be priced under this amount. We will contact you with your order total and a invoice. Custom designs are available and pricing is per project.

Nature of handmade products

All of our products are handmade. Due to the nature of our production method, each product may vary slightly.

Exclusivity & Proximity

Approval is needed before becoming a Svendsen Jewellery stockist. This allows us to determine the proximity of your store to other stockists in the area. Proximity and exclusivity will be evaluated case by case and a number of factors will be considered. If you have questions please contact info@svendsenjewellery.com

Rush orders

Rush orders are accepted on a case by case basis.

Changes to order

Any changes or cancellation to orders must be emailed to info@svendsenjewellery.com or by phone within three days of placing your order. No cancellations to rush orders. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped.

Delivery & shipping

Orders will be completed and shipped within 4 weeks from the date the order was placed. Typically, larger orders can take four-six weeks to fill, while smaller orders can take as little as one week.  If you require delivery by a certain date please discuss this when placing your order. Actual shipping costs will be added to your final invoice. We ship via Royal Mail with insurance/delivery confirmation and use economical Flat Rate boxes whenever possible. International orders are subject to custom restrictions/shipping requirements and buyer is responsible for all duties and import taxes/fees. UPS and FedEx are available as 3rd party billing if account number is provided.

Rush shipping on orders is available by special request and will incur additional shipping and handling charges.

 

Backorders

 We strive to ship complete, but on occasion we sometimes run out of our most popular designs. If this is the case we will contact you to give you the option to change your order or wait for the item to restock. All backorders will be noted on your invoice and will be shipped out as soon as possible. Svendsen Jewellery pays for any shipping charges on backorders. We will not cancel backorders unless requested.

Damages/short/lost goods

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. Contact Svendsen Jewellery at info@svendsenjewellery.com within 3 days of receipt of damaged, missing or defective shipments. Please keep all packaging materials so we may collect shipping insurance. Once received, damaged or defective merchandise will be reviewed. Returned merchandise will not be accepted if it is held for more than 15 days after receipt. 

Returns/Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with the jewellery in your order for any reason, please contact us within three business days of receiving your order by phone or to info@svendsenjewellery.com. You will be able to exchange for items of equal value, or pay the difference of upgrading to something of a higher value. All custom orders are not returnable.

Returned items must be new, unworn, and undamaged to be eligible for exchange. Svendsen Jewellery reserves the right to refuse items that are returned without prior notice, in a condition unacceptable for resale. All shipping, tracking and insurance charges for returns and exchanges are the retailer’s responsibility and cannot be refunded.

Please pack jewellery in a well-padded envelope or package and ship via Royal Mail, UPS or Fedex. Shipping insurance is not required but it is recommended.

Svendsen Jewellery is not responsible for loss or damages incurred from shipping of returned products. Claims must be completed by appropriate parties.

Repairs

We will gladly repair or replace any piece that breaks while on display at your store within 90 days of shipment. We guarantee our jewellery to your customers as well. We stand behind our products, and will repair/replace any problem within one year of purchase.

Customer repairs requested more than one year from the date of purchase will be charged for actual materials and labor. Charging the customer is at your discretion. 

You may also refer the customer directly to us for repairs. Keep in mind we also offer earring replacements, if your customer loses one earring and inquires about finding a match for it.

Privacy Policy

Any personal information that you provide to us including your name, address, telephone number and email address will be treated confidentially and will not be released, sold or rented to any entities or individuals outside of Svendsen Jewellery. We do however reserve the right to list your store's contact details in listed stockists on our website or to provide these details to a potential customer upon request. We do not collect or record any credit card details you may provide when purchasing products from svendsenjewellery.com. Your credit card details are securely passed to and processed by our Payment Processor, PayPal. If you have any concerns or enquiries regarding the privacy of your data email us at info@svendsenjewellery.com.
